Vermiculite coatings for protection against fire and high temperatures

Micashield DM651 is a Passive Fire protection coating that has been designed to offer maximum protection to substrates that are used in high temperature environments or in fire situations. Suitable for;
  • WOODEN SUBSTRATES
  • MANUFACTURED BOARDS
  • EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE
  • GENERAL CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Accreditations

  • EN13501-1 Certification when used in conjunction with OSB, Chipboard and Pine Softwood substrates
  • Class 0, BS 476 Parts 6 and 7

Micashield is a non-intumescent, single coat system requiring minimal surface preparation with the following characteristics:

  • Vermiculite Oxygen Barrier
  • Thermally Insulating Properties
  • Water Based Passive Fire Coating
  • Weatherproof
  • Upto 1000°C Maximum Working Temperature
  • Inert and Non Hazardous
